OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE
 
The programme provides practical concepts and skills in Logistics Management to enable participants to manage logistics successfully and to achieve high performance in their careers.
 
OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE
Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to:
1.
 Demonstrate a sound understanding of the theoretical and practical principles of Logistics Management in order for them to make effective decisions.
2.
 Demonstrate a critical understanding on the global supply chain and logistics strategies and trends to enable companies to expand into international markets and increase profitablility.
3.
 Demostrate a critical understanding on various Logistics activities such as Warehouse and Inventory Management, Transporation, Supply Chain, etc.
4.
 Show an understanding on the application of Information Technology in logistics management.
 
Entry Requirements & Programme schedule:
 
Entry Requirements:  
- SPM with 3 credits and 1 year working experience;
- Above 21 years of age with 3 years working experience;
   
Programme Schedule:  
- Duration: 12 months (part-time);
- 9 Modules: Each Module consists of 3 classes and 1 exams;
- Time of Classes: Saturday 1.00 - 7.00pm Face-to-face lectures;
- 1st intake 9th April 2005;
- Venue: 985 Sunny Garden, Mile 1 1/2 Tuaran Road, Kota Kinabalu;
