OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE

The program provides theoretical and Practical concepts and skills in Logistics Management to enable participants to manage logistics successfully and to achieve high performance in their careers. The course provides the opportunity for participants to obtain and share innovative ideas.

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to:

1. Demonstrate a sound understanding of the theoretical and practical principles of Logistics Management in order for them to make effective decisions.
2. Demonstrate a critical understanding on the global supply chain and logistics strategies and trends to enable companies to expand into international markets and increase profitability.
3. Demonstrate a critical understanding on various Logistics activities such as Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Strategic Planning, etc.
4. Show an understanding on the application of Information Technology in logistics management.
